Myriam Baron is Full Professor at Paris Est Créteil University. A large part of her research focuses on one hand on the characteristics of the French University System, and its dynamics over the past 50 years and on the other hand on students’ mobilities and their relationships with territories. In connexion with this work, she belongs to a research group on European Shrinking Regions. She also participates, in the framework of a multidisciplinary reflection, on the development of a Spatial History of French Scientific Institutions since the beginning of the 17th century, as well as on the establishment of an inventory of global scientific production and cooperation. Another part of her research focuses on spatial and territorial consequences of Tunisian Revolution.
