Isabelle Géneau is a lecturer in geography and planning at the Paris 1 University. She has a double qualification in geography/planning and in economics. Her work has concentrated particularly on industrial geography and on various approaches to economic geography. At present she is particularly concerned with financial activities and the impact of their redeployment on urban space.
